My house had badly needed siding as it was the original siding and was over 36 years old. It had become punky and was deteriorating and was pointless to keep painting it. I decided to go with vinyl siding so that the chore of painting would be a thing of the past. After vetting several local contractors we decided on Doyle Siding. Ken Doyle came to my house assessed what it would take to redo my entire house and gave me a price that came under the other contractors. I felt satisfied with that.
Once work began he and his crew were at my house every day bright and early. Even on the hottest of days they were there. I watched them work and saw that the work was done carefully and meticulously. They tore off all of my old rotted siding and discovered underneath damaged plywood from water infiltration over the years. They removed all of the damaged plywood and replaced them with new plywood. They then Tyveked the whole house taking care to tape the seams as they went along. I was impressed with the way they restored my dormers and how they neatly trimmed the siding on those difficult angles.All of my gutters and downspouts were replaced with new ones. It was a clean look when finished, and he even put gutter guards in for me so I don't have to get up there and clean the leaves out in the Fall.
I had also asked that all of my windows and doors be replaced which they did. They used Simonton windows which I had never heard of at the time but would come to find out later by reading my Consumer Reports magazine that they are the number one rated windows and were Low E and argon filled giving them a favorable Energy Star rating. The French Door & Sliding Door were also Energy Star rated. When the job was completed I saw a total transformation of my home. My owners pride that had been slowly diminishing over the years had once again returned. My neighbors would comment how nice it looked when they strolled by.
I would highly recommend Doyle Siding. When the job is done Ken assures you that he will be there for you if ever there is any need.
